Google opens free 1080p AI video in Vids to every Google account
Anyone with a personal Google or Workspace account can now generate AI video in Google Vids for free, using the Gemini Omni 1.1 Flash model. You can create scenes in 1080p, upscale older clips, and set a first and last frame so the model fills in the motion between them. Every clip carries an invisible SynthID watermark. Free accounts get six generations a month, desktop only. For a product clip or a job advert, that's plenty to be going on with.
